The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Android/iOS Game Arriving On 17th April

Gameloft has finally revealed the release date for 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' game for Android, iOS and Windows Phone users. The mobile game will arrive on 17 April, and will be accessible via its respective app stores.

Last month, Gameloft and Marvel released the teaser trailer for the mobile game, which showcased some of the gameplay and villains such as Electro and Green Goblin, two arch-rivals of Spider-Man. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 also includes some of the other iconic villains from the Marvel universe.

This is the open-world sequel to Gameloft's first, Silver Award-winning mobile game adaptation of Marvel's arachnid-like superhero.

You'll be able to combo-hit all the goons you like, and sling as many webs around New York as you can handle. Probably while using an egregious number of Sony-brand products, if it's anything like the movie.

There's also a non-mobile version of the game that will be launching slightly closer to the moment the movie hits cinemas. It will be coming to 3DS (and every home console under the sun) on April 29th.

How to Obtain GPS Coordinates On Your Phone?

A geographic coordinate system is a coordinate system that enables every location on the Earth to be specified by a set of numbers or letters. The coordinates are often chosen such that one of the numbers represents vertical position, and two or three of the numbers represent horizontal position.

A common choice of coordinates is latitude, longitude and elevation. These values can be obtained by using Global Positioning System (GPS) on your phone.

One Touch Location is an android/iOS application which lets you to obtain GPS coordinates and address of your location. The accuracy of the values depends on the quality of the GPS receiver on your phone. Sources of error include signal arrival time measurements, numerical calculations, atmospheric effects, ephemeris, and clock data, multipath signals, and natural and artificial interference.

Using One Touch Location you can also share your location in the form of a Google Maps link, letting others track you over time. Plus, there's a built-in feature that lets you discover places of interest nearby.

Aviate - An Intelligent Andoid Launcher Acquired by Yahoo for $80M

Aviate is an intelligent home screen replacement Android app which was recently acquired by Yahoo for $80M.

During CES 2014, Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer was on hand to deliver a keynote. During the keynote, she mentioned that Yahoo had just purchased a company called Aviate. That company makes software that replaces the standard home screen on Android devices.

Aviate automatically categorizes all of your apps, and intelligently rearranges your homescreen throughout the day to dynamically give you the apps and information you need most, at precisely the moment you need it.

Aviate uses a variety of factors, including the time of day and your location to determine what you’re likely doing, and provide the appropriate apps, buttons, and links for that moment. For example, when you wake up and unlock your phone, Aviate provides a widget filled with your next few appointments, the weather, and even an icon for Twitter, since you like to scan news headlines in the morning. On the way to work, Aviate pops up Waze, Pandora, and Gas Buddy. When you head out to lunch, your home screen adapts itself to the restaurant you’re in, providing photos and tips from Foursquare, as well as the option to check in. As you walk to your car after happy hour that evening, Aviate pops up quick links to get directions home and check on traffic. When you plug in your headphones for an evening walk, your music apps appear. And finally, as you slump into bed after a long day, your home screen includes a new "Set Alarm" button, and a link to your Kindle app.

 Now, Aviate is finally free for everyone to try on the Google Play store, and all it takes it to put in “YAHOO” when it asks you for a code.

Moto X Camera Application - Review and Download

Moto X is an Android Smartphone which is just made for an average customer who concentrates much on features than specifications. If you are one among those average mobile users, then MOTO X can be your perfect mobile phone.

In this Article, I'll be presenting thr Camera application of Moto X which is Clean, minimalist and easy to use.

  Moto X Camera UI is simple and easy to use. The swipe controls are pretty refreshing. When Swipe Right you get a wheel like Options menu which you won't see in any other phone and You can access the gallery by swiping left. Swiping Up or Down to Zoom-in or Zoom-out.

The Original Camera of Moto X features Quick capture, Slow-motion mode, HDR, Photosphere, Panaroma and other standard features. One of the easy to use features of Moto X camera is you just have to tap anywhere on the screen to take a picture. A Geek would consider this feature as a gimmick but an ordinary user will really find this feature to be most useful.

Image took on Sony Xperia Z using Moto X camera Application:

The Camera app which I'm presenting here has lot of Bugs. The basic features like Swiping Actions, Flash, Video recording, Touch focus and flash are working perfectly. But some of the features like Panaroma, HDR, Quick capture and slow-motion mode are not working for now and they will be fixed soon.

Note: Just Download and Install the APK file. This won't replace your stock camera app. But in case of Motorola Mobile phone users this APk will replace the stock apk, so backup your Stock camera App before installing this APK.

Story

Deus Ex: The Fall is a Set in 2027– the golden era for science, technology and human augmentation. Ben Saxon an augmented former British SAS Mercenary, is desperate for the truth behind a global conspiracy threatening his life. The story in the game directly follows that in James Swallow's Deus Ex: Icarus Effect, a tie-in novel to the 2011 game Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Gameplay

Deus Ex: The Fall brings full console experience of the Deus Ex to mobile. The Presentation of the game is spectacular. The Game offers a great mix of gameplay, as you really can approach combat as stealthily or head-on as you'd like — though The Fall gives you greater rewards for non-violent solutions. The game offers a full suite of weapons, including more than 20 guns and lots of grenade types, as well as active and passive abilities to employ from Ben's mechanically augmented body.

The motion controls is a bit hectic. The character can be moved to a location by double tapping on the screen but it’s too easy to activate accidentally. Dragging anywhere on the right half of the screen changes the view, and the left half the screen controls the movement.

As this is an action-stealth genre game, shooting abilities matters much. The fall’s Shooting isn't totally precise, as you just move your cursor with fingers over a target. There are fire buttons on the left and right side of the screen, and buttons to crouch and take cover.

The weapons, grenades and power-ups all worked on buttons that would open drop-down menus with more options when held. It was a nice way to save space, but it made it somewhat difficult to change weapons in the middle of heated combat.

Some of the Augmentations like Smart vision, Punch tool, etc. are refreshing and social and hacking skills are pretty smart. If you are a fan of Deus Ex franchise you will definitely enjoy its Gameplay.

Graphics and Sound

The fall’s graphics is remarkable. The Gold tint feels like playing Deus Ex: Human revolution. The Characters, shadows and surrounding speaks about the visually stunning graphics. Like its big brother, The Fall has same sound effects.

Verdict

Deus Ex: The Fall worth every penny. You may feel some difficulties to play this game on your phone as this is first person shooter game. The Game is highly recommended for Tablets or mobile phone with BIG screen. One may feel uncomfortable to use the controls even on a mobile phone with 4.7" screen because you can't much space to hit the buttons and to see everything clearly.

Secret Codes of Android Phones

DISCLAIMER: This information is intended for experienced users. It is not intended for basic users, hackers, or mobile thieves. Please do not try any of following methods if you are not familiar with mobile phones. We'll not be responsible for the use or misuse of this information, including loss of data or hardware damage. So use it at your own risk.

So in this topic, you'll get several hidden secret codes which can be used in any Google Android mobile phone to access things which are not accessible by default.

FYI These codes have been obtained by decoding various .apk files present in the phone firmware.

*#*#4636#*#*

This code can be used to get some interesting information about your phone and battery. It shows following 4 menus on screen:

* Phone information
* Battery information
* Battery history
* Usage statistics

*#*#7780#*#*

This code can be used for a factory data reset. It'll remove following things:

* Google account settings stored in your phone
* System and application data and settings
* Downloaded applications

It'll NOT remove:

* Current system software and bundled applications
* SD card files e.g. photos, music files, etc.

PS: Once you give this code, you get a prompt screen asking you to click on "Reset phone" button. So you get a chance to cancel your operation.

*2767*3855#

Think before you give this code. This code is used for factory format. It'll remove all files and settings including the internal memory storage. It'll also reinstall the phone firmware.

PS: Once you give this code, there is no way to cancel the operation unless you remove the battery from the phone. So think twice before giving this code.

*#*#34971539#*#*

This code is used to get information about phone camera. It shows following 4 menus:

* Update camera firmware in image (Don't try this option)
* Update camera firmware in SD card
* Get camera firmware version
* Get firmware update count

WARNING: Never use the first option otherwise your phone camera will stop working and you'll need to take your phone to service center to reinstall camera firmware.

*#*#7594#*#*

This one is my favorite one. This code can be used to change the "End Call / Power" button action in your phone. Be default, if you long press the button, it shows a screen asking you to select any option from Silent mode, Airplane mode and Power off.

You can change this action using this code. You can enable direct power off on this button so you don't need to waste your time in selecting the option.

*#*#273283*255*663282*#*#*

This code opens a File copy screen where you can backup your media files e.g. Images, Sound, Video and Voice memo.

*#*#197328640#*#*

This code can be used to enter into Service mode. You can run various tests and change settings in the service mode.

WLAN, GPS and Bluetooth Test Codes:

*#*#232339#*#* OR *#*#526#*#* OR *#*#528#*#* - WLAN test (Use "Menu" button to start various tests)
