ROOT REQUIRED!
Open with root explorer text editor /data/data/com.fingersoft.hillclimb/UserDefault.xml
Search for <coins>xxxxxxxxxx</coins>, where xxxxxxxxxxxx is your actual value of money.
Change it to any value, but try not too large, I have tested it to appx. 170M.
Then just save your edited file and enjoy
